About Us
We are pleased to announce that LoJack Corporation, the leading global provider of recovery systems for stolen mobile assets acquired Locator Systems International Corporation in April of 2008.
Many are familiar with LoJack and their ongoing commitment to working with law enforcement. With support from LoJack, Locator Systems continues to be a leading designer and manufacturer of advanced tracking and location equipment for the millions of people worldwide that have cognitive conditions that may cause them to wander or become lost.
Our equipment includes a Personal Locator Unit (PLU), which is a Radio Frequency (RF) based bracelet worn on a client’s wrist or ankle, along with Search and Rescue Receivers that enable public safety agencies to track the RF signal emitted from the PLU worn by a client. The equipment is distributed as part of the LoJack SafetyNet System for tracking and rescuing people at risk who wander.
